Housing Freedom for Veterans
OUR MISSION.
Our mission is combating veterans’ homelessness by providing temporary housing using repurposed RVs that are suitable for full time living. This includes getting set up in a safe and supportive area that will provide long-term stability, helping them to integrate into society.
OUR VISION.
Our vision is to locate, qualify and assist veterans who are struggling with the challenges of life after the service.
GOALS.
2026
Provide 12 veterans with a place to call home.
Raise $60,000 in cash and RV donations.
Our Team.
Vee Clark
President
Vee Clark has been in the Financial Banking field for over 40 years. She currently works as the Business Development Executive at Kelly Community Federal Credit Union.
Clark is highly active with volunteer work, and she was one of the original founders of the Irwindale Library Foundation.
Her family members have served in the Army, Navy, and Marines, and their family moto is… “Military brothers and sisters have a home for the holidays, all are welcome.”
Michael Stauffer
Vice President
Michael Stauffer is a businessman in the Tyler, TX area, as well as the Vice President and Co-Founder of RVs4Heroes.
He has worked in the RV industry for more than 20 years. He is a veteran and served his country in the United States Army for six years.
In addition, he also served in the Texas National Guard for two additional years. During his time in the Army, he was a crew chief on a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter.
He is married to his wife Heather and has two children — Nathan and Sophie.
Kent Shelton
Secretary
Kent was raised in Southern California and the Dallas area. After graduating from Duncanville High School, he went on to graduate summa cum laude from DeVry University.
In 2013, Kent transitioned into the RV industry after a successful career with Verizon. Over the years, he has held several key positions within the RV sector..
Kent is a co-owner of Getaway RV in Lindale, Texas, where he is dedicated to providing exceptional service. He is also a Co-Founder of RVs4Heroes
Micah Roberts
Director
Born in Tyler, Texas, Micah L. Roberts joined the U.S. Army and served on active duty from 1996 to 2000. His commitment to his country continued with the Texas Army National Guard until 2007, and most recently with the Texas State Guard from 2021 to 2024.
With over 20 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry, he currently serves as a Service Manager at a local heavy equipment dealership in Tyler.
Micah is a devoted husband and father of four, as well as a proud grandfather of two.
Timothy Sacrey
Director
A passionate and results-driven professional, Tim Sacrey brings a diverse background that spans from roots on a rural farm to a successful career in leadership and management across various industries, primarily in logistics and distribution. He began his career with four years of service in the Navy, including a tour in Vietnam.
For over 50 years, he has been married to his high school sweetheart. Together they have enjoyed the adventure of owning multiple RVs, traveling through 46 of the 48 contiguous states.
